Installing Gate Posts on Solid Foundations

When installing gate posts ensure the area is clear anda free of any obstacles including any cables and pipes.

1. Measure and mark out the area for the gate posts ensuring the spacing between each post is 985mm centre to centre

2. Fix gate post supports to the centre of each mark with the expansion bolts provided. Ensure that the gate post supports are level and are 985mm centre to centre

3. Measure and cut gate posts and the composite plank to 1900mm and push the composite plank into one of the posts

4. Place gate posts over the top of each gate post support ensuring that the gate post with the composite plank is facing the right direction to accommodate the hinges, trims and lock

5. Check all dimensions ensuring that the gate posts are 915mm apart top and bottom
